LAZ’S LANE PROJECT (2021)

The Carnegie suburb, where I first settled at in Melbourne, has a beautiful community. Laz’s Lane is one of the community projects run by Kirsten and volunteers. Kirsten manages the laneway between Koornang Road and Graceburn Avenue for people of Glen Eira to share their art and plants with the community. Wonderful art is shared by people of all ages, irrespective of their skill level throughout the year. Taking part in this community project helped me build up my confidence to share my art with others which led to other achievements. Laz’s Lane project has spread to other Carnegie laneways including Rita Laneway, Glenhuntly Laneway and Bird Laneway.
