While visiting the laneways of Melbourne to take reference pictures for the Laneways Homeways Exhibition, Rahila saw many tourists, students, photographers, and passers-by but it was those people who were missing their homes that caught her attention. She took a picture for her reference and showed it to her friends and family asking if they could spot a person in the picture, they all denied and that’s when she decided to create an artwork that enhances and brightens their space only. Artwork painted on the top wooden piece of side draw found in an alley.
